About BRMC

Bradford Regional Medical Center is located in Bradford Pa., a beautiful community in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains in Northwestern Pennsylvania on the Pennsylvania-New York State border, 75 miles south of Buffalo, NY.

Since its founding in 1887, BRMC has been part of the fabric of life in Bradford, changing through decades to address the changing healthcare needs of the region.

A member of the Upper Allegheny Health System, BRMC is an exemplary community hospital. With 10 acute care beds and a 95 bed nursing facility, the hospital provides care to a service area of approximately 64,000 people. The hospital has a medical staff representative of many varied specialties and subspecialties in medicine. Especially noteworthy is the outstanding collegiality and support that exists among the medical staff’s 150 members. The medical staff is proud of the programs and services that they have created in response the region’s healthcare needs. 

As a rural community hospital, BRMC has significant clinical and technological capability and has received numerous recognitions for its quality and safety performance. Programs at BRMC include oncology and hematology services in collaboration with Roswell Park Cancer Institute of Buffalo, general surgery, cardiology, home care, one of the region’s leading inpatient behavioral health services programs, orthopedics and sports medicine, sleep medicine center, wound care program, numerous ambulatory care centers and a busy emergency department.

Adjacent to BRMC is the Pavilion, a 95-bed long term nursing facility. The hospital operates the Foothills Medical Group, a multispecialty physician group practice with offices in Bradford and Smethport.
